Share the Dove

Dove was in need of some hard hitting advertising about it’s marquee product, the beauty bar. Working within the campaign for Real Beauty, we developed a playful campaign, employing real women (real-life friends in this case) to share their most loved soaps. Their bond was real and so was the on-set surprise. I was honored to be part of such an iconic brand. 


I learned a lot about authentically capturing real people on film. Setting up a surprise was difficult when it came to working with these non-actors, as it was quintessential to ensure the honestly of the surprise came through but also that the women felt comfortable.


I wanted to telegraph a desire for the beauty bar, while showcasing the end benefit: beautiful skin for all women.
